Before you join

A good field day starts with a clear plan.

Ask about the task, meeting place, expected conditions, and available facilities. Share any access needs so the organizer can help you find an appropriate role.

Some people enjoy working outdoors. Others prefer keeping records or preparing materials. Both can help a project stay organized between visits.
